It deserves its 3 stars. Planned to see Medellin major attractions and it was unique base for visiting all of them. We had double beds and we all slept well.

That hot water was missing.

We really loved it, its staff and location. Mondongos Poblado, where you can eat, is within walking distance of the hotel. Fortunately, free Wi-Fi was available.
